Three suspected robbers have been apprehended by men of Ogun state police command. The suspects, Tajudeen Akeem, Idowu Samson and Taofeek Taiwo, were said to have left Mushin in Lagos State and chose Ilaro in the Yewa-South Local Government area of Ogun State as their operational target.
They were nabbed after successfully dispossessing one Abdul-Ganiy Olakintan of his motorbike in a very cruel and brutal manner.
At the point of committing the criminal act, it was gathered that, one of them rubbed dried, grinded pepper on their victim’s eyes, causing him a momentary incapacitation.

Unsuspicious of their intention, Abdul-Ganiy picked them only for the marauders to shortly after that show him their traits.
Oyeyemi stated that, Abdul-Ganiy, after regaining his sight, lodged a complaint at Ilaro Police Division saying, the suspects first threatened him with a knife and ordered him to pull up, adding that it was after that, they smeared his eyes with pepper, and thereafter made away with the motorbike.
‘Following the report, the DPO Ilaro Division, CSP Opebiyi Sunday, detailed his detectives to embark on serious manhunt for the hoodlums. Their efforts paid off when, on a tip off, and with the assistance of members of the community, one of the suspects, Tajudeen Akeem, was arrested. His arrest led to the apprehension of the other two suspects, namely Idowu Samson and Taofeek Taiwo.
“On interrogation, the suspects, who all live in Mushin area of Lagos State, confessed being responsible for series of motorcycle snatching in Ilaro and its environs”, the PPRO stated, adding that the snatched motorcycle was recovered from the hoodlums.
