The former Super Eagles captain, and English Premier League footballer is arraigned alongside six others.
The Scottish Sun reports that Okocha’s appearance concerns his alleged involvement in a business in the North-east of Scotland sometime in 2015.
It was learnt that Police opened an investigation in 2015 which spanned two years before charges were brought against Okocha and the other defendants.
But he is being arraigned specifically on one count charge in relation to acquisition, use and possession of criminal property and another relating to concealing, disguising, converting and transferring criminal property.
The retired footballer who scored 14 times for Nigeria in 73 appearances and starred in the country’s 1994 World Cup campaign, is also being tried back home for task evasion.
A Lagos high court had four days ago re-issued an arrest warrant on him after he refused to give account of income of his businesses in the state.
